Seasons and Rounds_

thehack.online is played in rounds: a race against time where everyone starts from the same line and only the best end up on top of the leaderboard.

Rounds

A round lasts 49 days. The bar at the top always tells you the current season, the round number and which day of the round it is.

When the round ends:

1. The game closes and the final leaderboard stays up for 48 hours.
2. Then a new round starts and everyone starts from scratch: level, money and skills go back to their initial values, while hardware, books, drugs and servers are emptied.

Your account, your avatar and your profile remain, of course.

Seasons

Rounds are grouped into seasons of 6 months. Winning a round is great, but staying at the top round after round is what makes a legend.

Tip: the first days of a round are the most important: whoever builds a good setup early earns faster for the rest of the round.
